Ajnci partnered with Verima, an emerging CBD and wellness brand, to elevate their content and market presence so they could stand out on crowded shelves and online. We executed a comprehensive rebrand—redesigning their style guide, modernizing packaging, strategizing influencer outreach, and overhauling their digital footprint—to position them as a premium, approachable choice in the competitive holistic wellness space.

CHALLENGE

As a startup in the crowded CBD market, Verima needed a cohesive and modernized brand identity that could translate seamlessly across both digital platforms and physical retail shelves. Their existing branding lacked the visual impact required to appeal to consumers or secure key retail partnerships. The client's explicit ask was a holistic elevation of their visual assets, packaging, e-commerce interface, and influencer outreach strategy to establish credibility and drive growth.

The complete brand overhaul successfully modernized Verima's identity and positioned them for tangible retail expansion, evidenced by the successful co-branding partnership with Sand Spa. By expertly translating the brand's organic roots into a premium, modern visual aesthetic, Ajnci provided a robust foundation for scalable digital growth and expanded wholesale B2B opportunities.

Verima is a health and wellness startup dedicated to producing natural, broad-spectrum hemp and CBD solutions. Their holistic product line includes essential oils like peppermint and lavender, daily lotions, pain relief balms, roll-ons, and D9 THC gummies. Verima focuses on utilizing the whole hemp plant to retain beneficial terpenes and phytocannabinoids without psychoactive effects, promoting a premium approach to everyday wellness and tranquility.

We initiated the project by redesigning Verima's style guide and modernizing their logo. This comprehensive rework ensured the visual identity was optimized for social media and digital platforms while remaining versatile enough for their expanding product offerings.

We developed and strategized a highly curated influencer kit designed to introduce the brand to key tastemakers. The tactile unboxing experience integrated the new visual color gradients with natural craft materials, reinforcing the brand's organic CBD roots and educating new users on how to incorporate the products into their daily routines.

Our team completely reimagined the packaging for their boxes and bottles, utilizing premium blue glass and vibrant color gradients to create a visually appealing, standout shelf presence. To give context to these strong visuals in a physical setting, we also designed a customized co-branded retail box for a strategic partnership with Sand Spa in LA, allowing both brands to cross-promote seamlessly on the retail level.

To build a robust library of visual assets that give real-world context to the brand's premium positioning, we produced and directed an in-home lifestyle photoshoot in Miami. Featuring three models naturally interacting with the products, we delivered over 1,000 high-quality, realistic, and close-in lifestyle images optimized for cross-platform social media and website use.
