CHALLENGE
Donny’s primary challenge was a distinct lack of clarity and structural organization across his digital footprint. In the real world, he seamlessly wore multiple hats—coach, athlete, speaker, and ambassador—but his online presence lacked a unified brand system that coherently communicated this diverse value. The ask was clear: he needed a highly professional, scalable brand identity, authentic high-quality photography, and a cohesive website that could easily tell his story. Furthermore, the platform had to feel premium, modern, and intentional, complete with a system to organize his growing assets while remaining flexible enough to expand alongside his career.

Donny-Joshua Felix is the powerhouse behind the personal brand DJF Performance. Based in Miami, he is a performance coach, former Division I soccer athlete from Howard University, motivational speaker, and a Lululemon brand ambassador. Having honed his expertise starting as an intern at DBC Fitness, Donny specializes in elevating sports performance and holistic health, bringing his high-performance philosophy to everyone from youth athletes to elite NBA, NFL, and MLS players. As a speaker, he inspires communities with talks on discipline, mental resilience, and purpose-driven living, recently co-hosting the "Mind over Miles" live podcast event alongside NFL fullback Alec Ingold ahead of the Lululemon Miami 10K.

We initiated the project with an immersive creative and brand strategy phase, guiding Donny through multiple logo explorations to capture the essence of his elite performance methodology. The final brand system is clean, bold, and highly versatile, built intentionally to scale seamlessly across digital interfaces, social media, and future prestigious brand partnerships. We delivered a complete brand toolkit, establishing his primary and secondary logo marks alongside tailored social media iconography.

To ensure absolute consistency and visual impact, we defined a fresh, energetic color palette and modern typography that echo the intensity and focus of professional athletics. These foundational design elements were meticulously documented in a comprehensive brand style guide. To solve the operational challenge of file management, we organized all of these new design assets into a centralized, professional library powered by Brandy, giving Donny an intuitive system to effortlessly manage his growing brand.

Serving as the cornerstone of his new identity, we designed and developed a mobile-first, responsive website on Squarespace. The UI/UX design was focused on flawless clarity and flow, intentionally mapping the site architecture to showcase Donny across his four primary pillars: Coach, Athlete, Speaker, and Ambassador. We integrated seamless contact and inquiry pathways, along with specialized program sign-ups designed explicitly to connect ex-athletes directly with his services.

To breathe life into the brand, AJNCI directed original photography and content creation sessions that captured Donny in his true element. We produced authentic, never-before-seen imagery of him leading intensive training sessions, coaching elite athletes, and commanding the stage as a speaker. For example, dynamic, sweat-driven action shots of his physical training regimens were captured to serve as bold hero imagery on the website, while more candid, high-energy lifestyle visuals were crafted for social media storytelling to reflect his intense discipline and profound connection with his clients.
