Their original logo lacked the scalability required for digital platforms, social media applications, and physical merchandise. While they identified a highly lucrative opportunity to launch a lifestyle apparel brand that reflected their community's unique culture, they needed an end-to-end solution spanning creative direction, production, and e-commerce execution to bring this vision to life.

We began by modernizing Fifth Down Capital’s core identity, refining their original logo into a shorter, cleaner, and highly versatile mark designed specifically for digital-first use. This visual overhaul focused on improved iconography, intentional color application, and stronger legibility across web and physical merchandise. We then formalized this refreshed visual identity into a comprehensive brand style guide detailing logo usage, typography, color systems, and partner lockups. To ensure operational consistency, we deployed these newly minted visual assets through Brandy, creating a highly scalable and centralized asset management system to streamline collaboration for both internal teams and external partners.

To bring these physical products to market, we seamlessly integrated the Printful production pipeline with a robust Squarespace storefront. This custom-built, scalable online store was specifically engineered to deliver a frictionless e-commerce experience. We designed the platform's architecture to intuitively organize the massive product catalog, establishing clean visual interfaces and robust category filters for specific partner collections like Mike's Hot Honey, Peregrine, and Dumpling Daughter. This automated infrastructure was strategically built to support ongoing merchandise drops, future partner collaborations, and long-term brand growth while maintaining strict operational efficiency and brand consistency.

In parallel to the brand identity refresh, we led the creative direction, design, and production of a fully realized lifestyle apparel brand extending into a consumer-facing revenue channel. The curated collection features over 200 lifestyle SKUs to visually represent the brand, ranging from core apparel like the Fifth Down Dark Pocket Hoodie, Light Sport Polo, and custom slides, to practical lifestyle accessories including MagSafe iPhone cases, steel tumblers, and Columbia jackets. We also developed customized partner-branded gear collections to highlight Fifth Down's portfolio, designing visually distinct items such as "Hot Honey Slides" and classic hoodies for Mike's Hot Honey, Blackout T-shirts and Dark Tech Polos for Peregrine, and graphic logo tees and beach towels for Dumpling Daughter. All printing and fulfillment operations were efficiently managed and automated through Printful.
